It’s not just about the strategy

The most annoying + relieving thing I’ve learned about running a business…It’s not all about the strategy.

Annoying because I spent YEARS learning and testing tons of different strategies to create and sell and connect online. But also relieving because I finally figured out that ANY strategy would work as long as I showed up consistently and confidently.

Webinars, affiliate promotions, ebooks, courses, coaching, templates, selling on my site, on Amazon, joint ventures, low priced products, high ticket coaching, opt-ins, freebies, speaking, stories, Youtube, IGTV, live Q+As.

That list stresses me out just looking at it!

While I’m happy to have learned so much, I wish someone had told me this sooner:

Pick a strategy for connection, a strategy for selling, and then get serious about showing up.

That's it!

But, of course, showing up is not always that easy:

What if I sound stupid? Say the wrong thing? Look unprofessional?

What if no one signs up? Shows up? Buys?

What if someone else did it first? Better? Completely differently?

(All my own thoughts, but maybe yours too)

Doubt will creep in every step of the way and you need to find a crazy amount of confidence, self love, and resilience to stick with it. Journaling, EFT, and guided meditations have been my go-to for this.
