Optimize your IG profile to turn views into followers

How many potential clients / customers stop by your profile but never follow because:

• they aren’t sure what you do

• your last post was a while ago

• your feed is full of random stuff

The first thing new viewers will do when visiting your profile - read your bio + check the first 9 posts in your feed.

If they can’t get a clear sense of the type of content you’ll be sharing, they might go looking for someone else to follow. And that someone else might just be your competition!

So how can you quickly optimize your profile to turn viewers into followers?

1 ➜ The first line of your bio needs to include WHO you help and WHAT you help them accomplish.

They don’t need to know that you’re a coffee addict and a cat person - SHOW that in your photos. The bio space is your opportunity to TELL them what you do in 2 seconds.

Mine currently says "I teach solopreneurs the essential skills to grow their audience on Instagram and their income with digital products." Couldn't get more clear than that!

2 ➜  You need to post at least 2 times each week (more if you’re just starting to grow). Who wants to follow someone who never posts?? Keep it consistent and I guarantee you’ll start seeing your numbers grow consistently too. 

3 ➜ You need to SHOW what you do within your first 9 photos. This can include photos of you doing your thing, images of your client work, mockups of your courses or ebooks. But it can also be graphics that offer quick tips + advice - just make sure they all align with what you sell.

The less newbies have to guess what they’re going to get from you, the more easily they’ll be able to click that follow button.
